REFUND POLICY
WARRANTY POLICY
The sale of products on this website is protected by warranty that the products will be free from manufacturing defects and defects in design and workmanship ("Warranty") in accordance with the terms and conditions set out hereunder ("Warranty Policy").
Warranty Period
The Warranty provided under this Warranty Policy shall be effective from the date of delivery of product to you, and shall continue in effect for each product as per the detail listed on the product detail page with the complete description about the product ("Warranty Period").
Warranty Claimant
This Warranty is provided to the purchaser of the product as per the order confirmation receipt, and is non-transferrable. In order to be eligible for this Warranty, you must present a valid invoice (with a proof of date of delivery, if different from date of delivery in the invoice) in respect of the purchased product, as and when requested by us or our representative(s). Any modifications or alterations made to the products post purchase not done by authorized personnel of Anu Furniture, will void the Warranty.
Warranty Exceptions
This Warranty does not cover damages or defects due to inadequate maintenance, mishandling, excessive loading and negligence in usage. It also does not cover wear and tear due to regular usage or variations due to natural characteristics of the materials used. Anu Furniture's decision shall be final with respect to the nature of defect and applicability of Warranty.
Wood
- Natural Cracks: Hairline cracks less than 10cm due to seasonal changes or dryness are not covered under Warranty.
- Handcrafted Imperfections: Minor knots, colour variations, or slight surface inconsistencies are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.
- Borer and Fungus Infestations: Infestations caused by prolonged exposure to humidity or damp environments are not covered under warranty.
- "As Seen and Liked" Sales: Products purchased from exhibition or discounted sales cannot be exchanged, replaced or refunded unless there is a manufacturing defect or structural borer infestation.
- Damage from Accidents or Negligence: Cuts, scratches, or damages caused by impacts, accidents, tampering, or negligence are not covered.
- Fabrics and Cushion Wear: Natural fading of fabrics and leather, or softening of cushion cores over time, are not considered manufacturing defects.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Damage from aging, usage beyond intended function, or natural factors is not covered.
- Improper Usage or Installation: Damage from improper installation, third-party assembly, misuse, modifications, water, or sunlight exposure is not covered.
- Breakages Post-Delivery: Breakages to glass, mirrors, or stone tops after delivery confirmation are not covered.
Marble
- Chipping and Cracking: All marbles are treated to avoid natural chipping; however inappropriate use is not covered.
- Staining: Marble is stain resistant, not stain proof. Unremovable stains of more than 5cm are not covered.
- Etching: Etching due to acidic substances or harsh cleaning agents is not covered.
- Colour Variations and Veining: Natural variations in colour, pattern, and veining are a feature of marble and are not considered defects.
- Wear and Tear: Surface scratches or dulling from everyday use are not covered.
Mattress
- Normal softening/sagging of less than 1 inch (2.50 cm) is not covered
- Damage due to misuse or abuse
- Fabric and foam staining, soiling, fluid penetration, tears or burns
- Use on a bed base structurally incapable of supporting the mattress
- Damage to mattress cover or zippers
- Only the original purchaser (with invoice) is eligible for warranty claims
- Liability is capped at the purchase price as shown on the original invoice
- Damages due to insects, rodents, or natural calamities are not covered
- Opening of stitches reported after 15 days of purchase is not covered
- If the purchased mattress variety is discontinued, a replacement in the same price range will be offered
- Comfort level preferences are not covered under warranty
- Warranty is void if the original configuration is changed
- Customised size mattresses cannot be replaced or returned
Liability Limitations: Anu Furniture's liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective product. Under no circumstances will Anu Furniture be held liable for indirect damages, costs, or financial losses.
Anu Furniture's Responsibilities
Subject to the conditions listed on the respective product details page and during the Warranty Period, Anu Furniture at its discretion will either (a) repair the damaged product or (b) replace the damaged product with a new product:
- For repairs, we will pick up the damaged product from the delivery address or repair it at your location. The repaired product may be shipped to the same or another address at our discretion.
- Replacements will be delivered to the original shipping address. The damaged product will be collected at the time of replacement delivery.
- We do not have a refund policy at the moment. In an unlikely event of delivering a wrong or damaged product, Anu Furniture will evaluate the condition and decide whether to replace, repair, or offer a reselection based on stock availability.
- We do not have any "change of heart" policy and cannot accept returns if you do not like the product after receiving it.
- We cannot provide store credit for delayed deliveries caused by factors beyond our control.
Warranty Disclaimer
Anu Furniture shall not, under any circumstance, be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits or revenues. This Warranty does not extend to personal injury caused by the User's own negligence or omissions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Anu Furniture's total liability shall not exceed the product's purchase price as on the invoice.
This Warranty does not cover: (a) minor imperfections that do not materially alter the product's functionality; and (b) claims arising from the product's dissimilarity with images on the platform. You are required to satisfy yourself regarding the suitability of the product before purchase.
In the event that a specific warranty is provided by a third-party manufacturer, such warranty claims are between the third party and you. Anu Furniture shall not be liable or responsible for any such warranties, nor obligated to mediate any resulting disputes.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the laws of India and all claims arising from this Warranty Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Anu Furniture reserves the right to modify or amend the terms and conditions herein due to change(s) in availability of services, products and/or spare parts, or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules, regulations and law, with or without notice.
CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
This cancellation, return and refund policy ("Policy"), together with our Terms, sets out our procedures and policies in accepting product cancellation, return and refund thereof.
Cancellation of Products
You can cancel the order within 24 hours of order confirmation, provided the order has not been dispatched. In such a case, we shall issue a store credit of 100% in the form of a credit note with no expiry date, which can be used at a later date. In exceptional cases of a refund to the source account, the refund will be made after deducting bank transaction charges of 2.5%.
Return of Products
While our delivery team will do a quality check for all products, you are responsible for inspecting the product's final quality once delivered. You can inform us about any problems associated with the product's condition immediately, but not later than 2 days from the date of delivery ("Review Period").
- If a material defect is reported before the end of the Review Period and identified as valid at our sole discretion, we will replace the product or offer a reselection based on stock availability.
- Please retain the original box until the return window is closed. Return requests cannot be raised without original packaging.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the entryway is wide enough. No return will be accepted if the product does not fit the entryway, stairway, or service lift.
- We do not have any "change of heart" policy and cannot accept returns if you do not like the product after receiving it.
- We cannot provide store credit for delayed deliveries caused by factors beyond our control.
Refund of Products
We do not have a refund policy at the moment. In an unlikely event of delivering a wrong or damaged product, we shall replace with a fresh piece, offer a reselection based on stock availability, or provide store credit upon evaluation of the product. Store credit will be processed once the return shipment reaches our warehouse (up to 3 working days) and will be valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
Policy for Defective Products
We will issue a replacement or store credit for the following material defects in the products delivered to you:
- Big cracks or tears of more than 10cm
- Unremovable stain of more than 5cm
- Worn out mattresses and sofas
- Broken wood
We do not issue returns for minor defects such as small scratches or washable stains. In the event of a purchase of set items where only one has a material defect, a partial store credit may be generated to the extent of the defect, computed at our sole discretion.
